Sailors Rest is an established venue offering 3 levels of hospitality seven days a week.

we cater to family groups , corporate customers, and the party crowd and everyone else in between! 

Plus we have function spaces to offer on each level .

Ground floor - restaurant and beer garden - seating capacity 250-300 

Middle floor - lounge bar with tapas style menu 

Roof top - cocktail bar.

We are looking for a qualified Food and Beverage Manager to join our Sailors Rest family and be a key contributing factor to the success and future expansion of our business 

Your responsibilities will include the following:

• in charge of all F&B areas within the property and directly reporting into the RM
• Responsible for the day to day management and strategic direction of the F&B operation
• Management of the F&B team, through leadership and training including recruitment, appraisals and development of the team
• Achieving key KPI’s and financial targets
• Maintaining positive work environment and team culture
• Collaborate with the Head Chef to deliver high quality offering
• Manage stock control and stock take
• Placing food and beverage orders as required occasionally
• Manage supplier orders
• Drive standards across the restaurant, food outlets, bars and function & conferencing

The successful applicant will ideally have the following qualifications:

AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma

or

At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications.

In some instances relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification.
