About the role

The Recovery Performance Officer is responsible for supporting the Recovery, Planning & Performance division in delivering key initiatives to ensure we achieve the ambitious objectives of our strategy. The role will work directly with coordinators to drive development, evaluation of initiatives that improve the recovery outcomes for our customers. This role will be part of a flexible pool of resources that is responsible for discrete programs of work.

Key accountabilities

  • Support the development, implementation and evaluation of health initiatives, with a focus on improving customer recovery and provider performance
  • Provide expertise and consult with internal and external stakeholders to ensure design and delivery of recovery related initiatives meet business and customer needs
  • Support the development and implementation of predictive data analysis and dashboard reporting for health and disability services
  • Undertake complex analysis of performance data to identify improvement opportunities, gaps and risks and provide recommendations to others when escalting issues, anomalies or ideas
  • Assist with the development, ongoing management and reporting of provider contracts including tender processes
  • Assist in the environmental and industry research, development and implementation of health related programs of work including but not limited to the development of policy and guidance materials

About you

You are an experienced project professional, with an understanding of clinical practice. You thrive in working in agile environments, and demonstrate highly developed interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills. You have a passion for developing and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, and delivering high quality outcomes.

Skills and experience

  • Contributing to a culture that promotes alignment to values and human centred design approaches
  • Ability to analyse, isolate and interpret business and customer needs to develop relevant and appropriate solutions, ideas and recommendations
  • Strong experience in executing quality written reports, briefs, presentations, training and strategic communications (oral and written) for internal and external stakeholders
  • Project experience, scheduling complex programs of work, planning, delivery, risk assessments, gap analysis and the application of agile project methodologies
  • Comprehensive understanding of the legal, policy and the operational environment (health and/or insurance) and proven ability to deliver improvement initiatives and programs of work supported by research, analysis and customer needs
  • Ability to undertake effective research and analysis, capture input received from stakeholders to support the development of products and services, guidance materials, policy and procedures
  • Relevant tertiary qualification(s) in a health, disability or program management field
